The classic Stealie with a twist; a special tribute pin to the late and grate Owsley Stanley, his initials to either side of a stealie (his design)with a LSD molecule taking place of the lightning bolt! The year of his birth and death is inscribed below. It’s a pretty safe bet to say that the Grateful Dead would not have been what they became without the presence and guidance of “The Bear”. Self proclaimed King of Acid, Owsley was the forerunner in LSD production and a noted supplier for Ken Kesey’s Acid Test parties, along with the Grateful Dead themselves, as well as their sound man for many years.
